1. Drug Experimentation
Not Normal, RAND Studies Suggest
Kids who abstain from marijuana use are not emotionally or socially
troubled, whereas those who use alcohol or other drugs while alone tend
to suffer a range of psychosocial and behavioral problems.

2. Is Smokeless Tobacco Safer than Cigarettes?
Think that going smokeless is safer than smoking? Better think again.
Dippers may be exposed to more cancer-causing chemicals than a
pack-a-day smoker. Not as "healthy" as you thought, eh?

3. Fewer Parent-Teen Discussions About Drugs
A Partnership for a Drug-Free America survey finds that fewer
parent-teen discussions about the dangers of alcohol and other drugs are
taking place, a trend that PDFA described as 'alarming.'

How & Why Philip Morris is Pushing for FDA Regulation
It may seem incongruous to the average person why Philip Morris (PM)
would back legislation to restrict its business, yet that is what PM
seems to be is doing by supporting S. 625, the "Family Smoking
Prevention and Tobacco Control Act."

6. Antidepressants Now Most Prescribed Drugs
The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says that

totaling 118 million prescriptions in 2005.
