1. "I Won't Smoke"
By Deborah Blockmon, REACH 2010 (sung to the tune of "Three Blind Mice")
I won't smoke
I won't smoke
When I grow up, I won't smoke
It'll make you choke (cough)
It'll make you choke (cough)
When I grow up, I won't smoke
I won't smoke
I won't smoke
When I grow up, I won't smoke
It'll stunt your growth

3. Booze in Cyberspace: Alcohol Marketing in Youth-Friendly
Media
Anheuser-Busch signed a deal with Mobi-TV, a leading provider of
television content to cell phone users, to broadcast 18 beer ads per
hour
From podcasts to television on cell phones, the ways people get
information are changing faster than regulations can keep up. As forms
of "new media" emerge and become more sophisticated, alcohol companies
are among the first to take advantage of these new marketing
opportunities.

4. JUST THE FACTS:
- In the United States, it has been estimated that about 7.8
million people, 12 years and older currently use smokeless tobacco
regularly.
- Smokeless tobacco causes significant health risks and is not a
safe substitute for smoking cigarettes. It contains the same
chemical as cigarettes (nicotine) and can still lead to nicotine
addiction and dependence.
- Holding one pinch of smokeless tobacco in your mouth for 30
minutes delivers as much nicotine as 3 to 4 cigarettes.
