Quote of the Week:  "Just as bootleggers were forced out of business in 1933 when Prohibition was repealed, making the sale of liquor legal (thus eliminating racketeering), the legalization of drugs would put drug dealers out of business. It also would guarantee government approved quality, and the tax on drugs would provide an ongoing source of revenue for drug-education programs." ~ Abigail Van Buren, Dear Abby

The good news/bad news on the Jazz for Peace benefit concert last Friday.

The bad news:  if you weren't there you missed a wonderful evening of jazz with a lot of good people.

The good news:  you will get a second chance to see them perform again next year.

On election day here in Arizona we have two smoking propositions to vote on.  Prop 206 is funded by the RJ Reynolds Tobacco Company and you can figure out who they are trying to protect.  Prop 201, the Smoke Free Arizona Initiative is the one to vote for.  Remember Nix 206 and 201 is the one!
